Dhangadhi: In a poignant meeting between Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah of Far West Province and Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Hanan Goderbich, held on Tuesday, the focus was on seeking assistance for the families affected by a tragic incident.

Chief Minister Shah earnestly requested Ambassador Goderbich to extend relief to the families of 10 Nepalese students who lost their lives in a recent Hamas attack in Israel. The students, participants in the 'Learn and Earn' program, were studying at Far West University when the unfortunate incident occurred.

The Chief Minister went a step further, asking the Israeli Ambassador to personally meet with the grieving parents of the deceased students. The emotional appeal aimed at fostering a sense of solidarity and empathy during this challenging time.

A specific plea was made for urgent support to the family of Bipin Joshi from Kanchanpur, who is currently in captivity following the same Hamas attack. Chief Minister Shah emphasized the immediate need for rescue operations and relief efforts for Bipin Joshi's family.

The tragic event, which unfolded a month and a half ago, has left a lasting impact on the community, prompting Chief Minister Shah to take proactive measures to ensure that affected families receive the necessary support and assistance.
