Fire breaks out at Kailali's Ghodaghodi, causes Rs. 1.5 lakh loss

Dhangadhi, December 30, 2024 – A fire erupted in Tek Pariyar’s house in Ghodaghodi Municipality-8, Tilaknagar, Kailali, resulting in significant property damage.

The fire completely destroyed Pariyar’s one-storey, two-room mud house, causing an estimated loss of Rs. 1.5 lakh. According to the District Police Office Kailali, the fire broke out suddenly, and despite the extensive damage to the property, there were no casualties or injuries to humans or animals.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire. Local residents and emergency teams responded quickly, but the house was beyond repair by the time firefighters arrived on the scene. The incident has left the Pariyar family facing a substantial financial setback, though fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze.
