Drug Trafficking Incident Unveiled in Dhangadhi: 20-Year-Old Woman Apprehended
Dhangadhi: A young woman has been apprehended in Dhangadhi, Kailali, for her involvement in a drug-related incident.
The arrest transpired on a Friday, with law enforcement officers detaining the individual on charges of attempting to smuggle drugs concealed within her person. The collaborative efforts of the Narcotics Investigation Bureau in Mahendranagar and the District Police Office in Kailali led to the arrest of this 20-year-old woman as she sought to transport gray heroin through the Trinagar customs post.
The individual in question has been identified as Anuska Singh Thakuri, a resident of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-1, Pashupati toll. Authorities successfully recovered approximately one gram of brown heroin concealed within her person, specifically within her vagina. The delicate operation of extracting the drugs was carried out by female healthcare workers stationed at the Trinagar border, in coordination with the police.
Thakuri has been placed into custody, and ongoing investigations are being conducted by the police to shed light on the full extent of the matter.
