Tragic Demise of Pilgrim Following Unfortunate Incident at Bajura's Lake; Medical Efforts Underway
Bajura: In a somber incident, a devoted pilgrim lost his life after an unfortunate mishap at a lake in Bajura. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Bharat Budha, hailing from Triveni Municipality-1 in Bajura. Budha had embarked on the spiritually significant Badimalika Jatra, a pilgrimage of great reverence. Regrettably, he met his untimely demise as he accidentally fell into the lake during his pilgrimage.
Reports reveal that the elderly gentleman, who was on a visit to the revered Badimalika site, encountered distress on his journey due to insufficient oxygen levels. Dharmendra Bahadur Singh, the respected Gulmapati Senani of Durgabhanjan Gulm, shared that the pilgrim's life was extinguished last night while receiving medical attention at the healthcare facility administered by Bajura's Durgabhanjan Gulm.
In a parallel incident, Ishwari Bohara, a 63-year-old individual hailing from Attariya in Kailali, found herself in a similar situation. Stricken by oxygen deprivation, Bohara lost consciousness and is presently undergoing treatment at an army health camp.
Further afield, Dhan Prasad Neupane, a resident of Palata Rural Municipality-1 in Kalikot, faced a grim outcome due to oxygen insufficiency. Despite rescue efforts, Neupane's health deteriorated, and he eventually succumbed to his condition while receiving treatment in Surkhet.
Meanwhile, Zhupu Dhami, a resident of Jaiprithwi Municipality-9 in Bajhang, encountered an ordeal of his own. Swift action by an army helicopter led to his rescue, and after receiving the necessary medical care, he has been safely returned to his home.
