School principal dies after tree falls during windstorm in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A teacher has died after being struck by a fallen tree during a windstorm in Kailali.

Karna Bahadur Bhandari, principal of National Secondary School Sukhad and a resident of Sundar Tole, Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, died while undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi. Bhandari, 52, was injured when a sal tree fell on him during a windstorm on Friday morning.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajkumar Singh, Bhandari was initially taken to Ghodaghodi Hospital, Sukhad, for treatment. After receiving primary care, he was referred to Maya Metro Hospital for further treatment, where he later died during medical care.
