Change of name and location of 11 polling stations in Baitadi
Baitadi: District Election Office Baitadi has started preparations for the state and representative assembly elections. Out of 129 polling stations in the district, 11 polling station names and locations have been recommended for change.
It is proposed to move the centre located at Tripura Sundari in Dasharathchand Municipality 8 to Swasthya Chowki Bhawan Tripurasundari, to Manilek Mavi Gurukhola in Dasharathchand Municipality-1 to Manilek Mavi Gurukhola, and to the nearby Dharamghar Mavi where Melauli Municipality-2 is located. Bhumeshwar Aadhar School will be the empty polling place as the rural municipality office of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-7 is Lotanpakha.
Since there is a polling station in Kailpal Basic School of Sigas rural municipality-4, now the polling station will be placed in the ward office. Head of Election Office Baitadi Madhav Phuyal informed that the centre had to be changed due to lack of space. Similarly, the names of polling stations which were named Old Village Buildings have also been changed. It is recommended that the name of the polling station is located at 7th govt.
building Kotila Rainechaur of Purchoudi Municipality is named Ward Office No. 7, Kotila Rainechaur. It has been recommended to name the polling station named Rodideval at rural municipality office of Pancheswar Rural Municipality-6 for naming Ward Office No. 6. Pancheswar 5's village building Giregada has been renamed as Giregada, Ward Office No. 5. The polling place named Gavi Bhavan of Pancheswar Rural Municipality-2 has been named Ward Office No. 2 Mahakali. It has been recommended to name Ward Office No. 5 Pallachaudali as the borough building of Dasharathchand Municipality 5 Pallachaudali.
According to the election office, the name of the polling station which has been named rural municipality office Gurkeli of Surnaya Rural Municipality 1 has been recommended for naming Ward Office No. 1 Hatairaj. Election Office Baitadi has recommended naming the places named as borough offices as Ward Offices.
2 thousand 808 voters have been added in the district. Election officer Phuyal informed that 2 thousand 808 voters were added from June 15th to August 4th. The total number of voters in the district is 148 thousand 606. There are 129 polling stations and 205 polling stations in the district. The government has decided to hold the provincial and representative assembly elections on November 20th at the same time.
