Woman dies after falling from cliff while cutting grass in Baitadi

Baitadi: A 24-year-old woman died after falling from a cliff while cutting grass in Baitadi district on Friday morning.

Sarita Bohara, a resident of Dhole Ratapani in Surnaya Rural Municipality-8, lost her life after falling from the Bhalupan Ekalkatta cliff at around 9 am, according to Ward Chairperson Bhan Bahadur Bohara. She fell approximately 150 meters and died on the spot.

Sarita is survived by two sons—a seven-year-old and a six-month-old infant. Notably, she had previously suffered serious injuries in a similar incident two years ago. Her sudden death has left her infant son in a state of bereavement.
