Illegal goods worth Rs 220,000 seized in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Police have seized illegal goods worth Rs 220,000 in Kanchanpur district.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, a team from the Area Police Office, Tribhuvanbasti, and Police Post, Bhuda, carried out the seizure during recent operations targeting customs evasion.

The team from Tribhuvanbasti confiscated customs-evading goods valued at Rs 212,000, while Bhuda police seized items worth Rs 7,800.

In addition to the illegal goods, the police also impounded a motorcycle used in the transportation of the seized items.
