Two arrested with loaded guns and ammunition in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Authorities have arrested two individuals in possession of loaded firearms in Kanchanpur.

Gagan Tarami, 53, and Prem Bahadur Dhami, 55, both residents of Tudikhel, Bhimdatta Municipality-9, were apprehended with two loaded guns, two packets of ammunition, 38 pieces of gun lead, 27 pieces of iron, 12 gun caps, and two khukuris, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

The arrests were made by a joint patrol team from the Area Police Office, Brahmadev, and the Armed Police Force, BOP Khalla, at Kaligada Khola in Bhimdatta Municipality-9.

Although the armed group reportedly consisted of ten individuals, only two were captured. Police have launched a further investigation into the matter, the District Police Office confirmed.
