Two fugitives in gambling case arrested in Dadeldhura

Dadeldhura: Two individuals who had been on the run in connection with a gambling case have been arrested in Dadeldhura.

The arrested individuals are 36-year-old Rajendra Prasad Ojha of Amargadhi Municipality-8 and 40-year-old Birendra Singh Badal of Duhu Rural Municipality-1, Darchula. Both had been absconding since the District Administration Office, Dadeldhura, issued a verdict on Falgun 29, 2080 BS, imposing a fine of Rs 7,000 each for their involvement in gambling.

A police team from the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, apprehended them on Tuesday.
