Kanchanpur: Nandadevi Khatri, a 53-year-old resident of Krishnapur Municipality-1, Begumphanta, is battling breast cancer but has been unable to continue treatment due to financial constraints.

Despite selling her family assets, including 100 goats, to raise Rs 3 million for her treatment, the funds have been exhausted, and her condition remains critical. "The disease has not been cured, and now I have no choice but to endure the pain as there are no additional funds for treatment," Khatri expressed.

Her brother-in-law, Gagan, added that the sale of the goats brought in Rs 600,000, but the buyer has yet to pay the full amount. "Each treatment session costs Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000, and we can no longer afford it, leaving her at home," he explained.

In this dire situation, Khatri has appealed to donors for financial assistance to cover her ongoing treatment expenses.
