Concern Bajura claims victory in Chededah Gold Cup

Bajura: Concern Bajura triumphed in the sixth edition of the Chededah Gold Cup 2081 BS, held in Atichour, Khaptad Chhededah Rural Municipality. They secured the title for the fifth time after defeating Badimalika-9 with a score of 4-2, according to game coordinator Krishna Oli.

Jeevan Rawal of Concern Bajura scored the opening goal within the first 30 minutes, followed by goals from Omprakash Bohra and Hridayandra Singh. Singh added another goal in the second half, solidifying their lead. Badimalika-9’s Rajesh Thapa and Suman V.K each scored one goal, but Concern Bajura’s total of four goals clinched the victory.

Lokendra Bahadur Khadka, president of the club, noted that the final showdown between Concern Bajura and Badimalika-9 was highly anticipated based on the points standings. The tournament began on Asoj 3 and concluded on Asoj 9, awarding Rs 3 lakh to the winner and Rs 2 lakh to the runner-up.
