Suspected Murderer Apprehended in Kanchanpur: Fugitive Woman Arrested in Connection with Duty Killing Case

Kanchanpur: In a significant development, Chakuri Debi Rokaya from Dodhara Chandni Municipality-10, who had been on the run in connection with a duty killing case, was apprehended on Sunday. The arrest comes in relation to the alleged murder of 11-year-old Rajan Rokaya, son of Sila Debi Rokaya, who was fatally attacked with a sharp weapon on June 16, 2063. Chakuri Debi Rokaya had been evading authorities since the day of the incident.

The arrest was carried out by a dedicated team from the Dodhara area police office. Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dangi, the spokesperson for the District Police Office Kanchanpur, confirmed that Chakuri Debi Rokaya is now in custody.
