Kanchanpur: In the serene village of Krishnapur, nestled within the heart of Kanchanpur, a dramatic and unfortunate incident unfolded as a herd of elephants wreaked havoc upon the homes of unsuspecting locals. The tranquil Chapartala village, situated in the northern reaches of the district, fell victim to the relentless rampage of these wild giants.
The unsettling events transpired late on a fateful Wednesday night, when a marauding herd of elephants laid siege to Chapartala, specifically targeting three homes within Krishnapur Municipality-4. With swift and relentless force, these elephants infiltrated the village, causing extensive damage to both residences and agricultural crops. The affected households, those of Shyanu Chaudhary, Gopal Chaudhary, and Jayaraj Chaudhary, bore the brunt of this unexpected catastrophe.
