Two Individuals Apprehended for Drug Possession in Kailali

Dhangadhi: In a recent development, law enforcement authorities in Kailali successfully apprehended two suspects in connection with drug-related offenses.

On Tuesday afternoon, a 25-year-old individual identified as Omkar Chaudhary, hailing from Janki Rural Municipality-1 Toraiyapur, was taken into custody. The police made the arrest after seizing approximately one gram and 920 milligrams of illicit substances from the suspect.

Additionally, on the same day and during a separate operation, 22-year-old Nabin Thapa, residing in Tikapur Municipality-1 Samitipur, was also arrested. The police found the suspect in possession of 250 milligrams of illegal narcotics.

Further investigations into the matter are underway, as law enforcement agencies continue their dedicated endeavors to curtail the spread and impact of drugs within Kailali. The authorities urge the public to cooperate and report any suspicious activities that could aid in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse.
