Distribution of educational materials to 10 students of a school in Doti
Doti: Helping Hands for Nepal-Norway, in collaboration with Saraswati Secondary School in Doti, recently organized a formal program to distribute educational and study materials worth one lakh to ten deserving students. The event took place at K.I Singh village school and was graced by the presence of Jitendra Bikram Shahi, President of Nepal-Norway Public Relations Society and a prominent youth leader.
The recipients of these materials were carefully selected, focusing on ten diligent students facing financial constraints. The school has been proactive in its efforts to facilitate scholarships and educational support through collaborations with national and international organizations.
Expressing his appreciation, Min Bahadur Rana, the school principal, acknowledged the substantial impact this support would have on the students' education, particularly for those facing financial difficulties. He extended his heartfelt gratitude to Vinod Basyal, President of Helping Hands for Nepal-Norway, and Jitendra Bahadur Shahi, a former student of the school, for their significant contributions.
Jitendra Bikram Shahi, President of Nepal-Norway Public Relations Society and a youth leader, expressed his delight in being able to distribute study materials to the school where he had received his education and spent his childhood. He further highlighted that Helping Hands for Nepal-Norway has been actively involved in distributing educational materials to underprivileged students across various schools in Nepal.
The program witnessed the presence of distinguished individuals, including Ramchandra Rana, Chairman of the management committee of the school and former ward chairman of K.I Singh village ward number 5, Min Bahadur Rana, the school principal, Jitendra Bahadur Shahi, Chairman of Nepal-Norway Public Relations Society, Gobind Rana, the school accountant, as well as teachers Bahadur Rana, Karn Rawal, Abhindra Rawal, Raghunath Joshi, Min Rana, Karn Rana, and other students.
