Dhangadhi: A housewife of Dhangadhi has given a one-month rent exemption. Nandlal Joshi of Ward No. 2 of the sub-metropolis has given a discount of Rs 220,000 a month.

Joshi said that the rent of five shutters in the main market near Purano Bhansar Road has been reduced.

Manoj Jethara, the operator of Tandoori Byte, said that he was relieved when the business was halted due to the ban issued after the spread of the corona virus.

The restraining order was issued after the second wave of infections spread as the first wave of corona-affected businesses returned to normal. Navin Bista, who has been doing business in Joshi's Shutter, said that he was relieved after the rent was waived due to worries about how to pay the rent when the business was halted even during that period.

After the housewife waived the rent after realizing the problem of the injunction, the traders have honored the landlord with food. Laxmi Bhushal, the manager of Glamor Beauty Parlor, said that she was very happy after the housewife gave her a month's rent.
