Police Seize Vehicles Involved in Customs Evasion, Arrest Three Individuals in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: A significant operation by the local police, resulting in the seizure of vehicles linked to customs evasion. The authorities successfully apprehended two motorcycles, one scooter, and one bicycle, all suspected of being involved in illegal activities aimed at evading customs regulations. Acting upon specific warrants, the police strategically recovered these vehicles from various locations within the district.

Furthermore, during the operation, the police team made additional discoveries related to the customs evasion scheme. Ready-made clothes, open cloth, plastic materials, coconut powder, sweets, oil, juice, shoes, and slippers were among the confiscated items recovered from the scene. The total estimated value of the seized goods amounts to approximately 375,301 rupees.

In conjunction with the recovered items, the police arrested three individuals believed to be directly involved in the illicit activities. The arrested suspects, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the Customs Office in Gaddachouki for further legal proceedings, ensuring appropriate action is taken against them.
