Darchula: Prem Mahara, 35, of Marma Basar in Darchula, who was electrocuted last Sunday, is suspected to have been killed. Mahara of Marma rural municipality-4 of Bimthi Basar was found dead at Ganesh Singh Bisht and Sher Singh Bisht house during construction at Lambagar Marma rural municiplaltiy-2. Surendra Mahara, nephew of the deceased, has suspected that he was killed. "There is not a drop of blood at the scene. About 10-15 liters of blood has been spilled on reaching Latinath Health Post. There is a serious head injury. How did you get hurt if you were electrocuted?" He asked.

He demanded an investigation into the incident as evidence of Mahara's murder was being found. Local Prakash Dhami said that Mahara was injured before the relatives of the deceased reached the spot. The body of Mahara, who was working as a mason, has been sent to his relatives after postmortem. According to the District Police Office, Darchula, the matter is being investigated. Darchula police spokesperson Madhav Bishwakarma said that the incident would be investigated as the relatives of Mahara had lodged a complaint with the suspicion of murder.
