Dhangadhi: A group of Narendra Prasad Bhatt of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-5, Taranagar, reached the office of the Regional Urban Development Project, Far Western Province, Project Implementation Unit, Dhangadhi on Friday. They have gone to the office to complain about the project chief alleging that the drain constructed in Taranagar Chowk of Ward No. 5 of the sub-metropolis was crooked and the house on Savik Road was not demolished. But they met Engineer Pujan Neupane saying that project chief Pravin Shah had gone to Kathmandu. Bhatt was holding the map in his hand and saying, "The road was not constructed as per the standards." A different drain was constructed than the design. The drain has also been made crooked due to awkward people.

The sub-metropolis has not cared. They have not come even once. 'He was saying that the Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan municipality has ignored the responsibility of clearing the jurisdiction of the road. Bhattade told Dinesh Khabas, "Kalika Construction is constructing the road." But the road has not been constructed as per the map. The sub-metropolis has not given an exit. The house in the road area, which did not have a map, has been pushed further north to save the house. The road is also crooked. '

They allege that the sub-metropolis is reluctant to vacate the jurisdiction of the road that has started construction through regional urban development. Locals have accused the sub-metropolis of being indifferent even though the road drain from Shahid Gate to Campus Gate in Dhangadhi has been blocked in many places with the loan assistance of the Asian Development Bank.

Local Bahadur Singh Khatri said that the physical infrastructure was vacated first. He said, "I was the first to demolish the physical infrastructure of the road area. That is, it should not be an obstacle to development. However, the drain has been made crooked. Nalli Bangotingo has been constructed at various places along the 3.65 km road from Shaheed Gate of Ward No. 4 to Campus Gate of Ward No. 8 of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis. The locals have alleged that the drain, Bangotinga was constructed due to the collapse of the house, wall, and land of the influential person. Although the sub-metropolitan government has the responsibility to vacate the jurisdiction of the road, the residents have complained that it has not been vacated despite repeated requests. But Pujan Neupane, an engineer at the Regional Urban Development Project, said the sub-metropolis should vacate its jurisdiction. He said, "The body to hear complaints belongs to the sub-metropolis." Jurisdiction has not been vacated. We urge them. " The Regional Urban Development Project is tarring seven roads in Dhangadhi. Although more than 10 kilometers of roads are under construction, work has not started as most of the roads are not vacant. But Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan spokesperson Santosh Mudbhari said that all the wards should vacate the jurisdiction of their respective areas. He believes that everyone should help as there are disputes in many areas.
