Woman dies due to fire in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A woman has died in a fire accident in Kanchanpur.

Gita Devi Thapa, 43, of Pratibhanagar Town Bazaar in Punarwas Municipality of the district was injured in the blaze on Thursday morning. According to Amar Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kanchanpur, she succumbed to her injuries while being brought to Seti Provincial Hospital.

According to police, she was fighting the fire alone.
