Dhangadhi Initiates Quadruped Tagging to Regulate Stray Animals
Dhangadhi: The Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City has launched a quadruped tagging initiative aimed at managing and controlling stray animals. The Animal Service Branch of the sub-metropolitan city commenced the tagging process on Sunday.
In a proactive step, the tagging of cows, bullocks, and calves began in the flower garden area. The initiative involved door-to-door tagging efforts in Dhangadhi-18, resulting in the tagging of 151 cattle quadrupeds on the first day.
The mayor's secretariat reported that this tagging initiative serves the purpose of not only regulating stray animals but also promoting responsible ownership and enhancing community safety. The systematic tagging process is expected to contribute to better animal management within the city, ensuring the well-being of both residents and the animals themselves.
