Absconding youth in drug case arrested in Tikapur

Dhangadhi: A youth from Tikapur, who had been absconding in connection with a drug case, has been arrested by authorities.

Ashok Thapa Magar, 29, a resident of Asneri, Tikapur Municipality-2, was apprehended on Wednesday. Magar had been on the run following a verdict by the District Court Kailali on Chaitra 7, 2080, sentencing him to two months in prison for a drug (heroin) case.

A police team from the Area Police Office, Tikapur, arrested Magar at his residence.
