Baitadi, [Date]: A horrifying incident unfolded in Baitadi as a woman fell victim to a fatal attack with a sharp weapon. The victim, identified as Harina Bista, approximately 56 years old, hailing from Surnaya Rural Municipality-3 Bijul, met her untimely demise at the hands of Tej Bahadur Chand, around 32 years old.

According to local sources, Chand arrived at Bista's residence on Tuesday afternoon, wielding weapons that included a sabal and hasia, leading to the tragic killing. The lifeless body of Harina Bista now lies in a mutilated state at the entrance of her home, sending shockwaves through the community.

Responding promptly to the distressing incident, a police team from the District Police Office, Patan, apprehended Tej Bahadur Chand.
