Indian National Apprehended with Narcotics in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Law enforcement authorities have taken an Indian national into custody for drug-related offenses in Kanchanpur. The apprehended individual, identified as Dhamendra Singh, hailing from Champawat Mina Bazaar in Uttarakhand, India, was detained on a Monday within the confines of Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No. 11, located in the district.

Reports from the police indicate that Singh was arrested while attempting to enter Nepal on a motorcycle bearing registration number UK 03 B 8269. In his possession, authorities discovered 9.33 grams of brown heroin, leading to his arrest. Along with the illicit substance, the police also confiscated his motorcycle and mobile phone as part of their investigative efforts.
