Dhangadhi: In a decisive action against illegal sand extraction, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City's law enforcement apprehended tractor No. 1037 last night at 11:00 PM. The vehicle was caught red-handed, engaged in unauthorized sand mining within Ward No. 17 Pathri of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City.

The city police of Sub-Metropolitan City executed the operation, successfully detaining the rogue tractor involved in this illicit activity. Subsequently, the seized tractor was transported to the premises of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City for further proceedings.

This action was taken in strict adherence to established regulations, which prohibit the extraction of non-river materials from local rivers during the period from Asar 1st to Bhadra 31st.
