Darchula Ward Secretary Found Deceased in Baitadi

Darchula: In a somber turn of events, a ward secretary from Darchula has been discovered lifeless in the region of Baitadi.

The deceased has been identified as Khemraj Kapadi, who held the position of ward secretary within Shailyashikhar Municipality-2 in Darchula. The 28-year-old Kapadi's lifeless body was located in the vicinity of Dogdakedar Rural Municipality-5, specifically in Salsena, Baitadi, according to local law enforcement.

The unfortunate incident unfolded as Kapadi embarked on a motorcycle journey to Dadeldhura for training purposes on Sunday morning. Today, his lifeless remains were located approximately 200 meters from the road, while his motorcycle was found at a distance of 150 meters below the road level, as reported by the District Police Office in Baitadi.

Authorities have initiated a comprehensive investigation into this incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Kapadi's untimely demise.
