Dhangadhi Commemorates 61st Engineers Day with Enthusiasm

Dhangadhi: The Nepal Engineers Association, Sudurpaschim Province, marked the celebration of the 61st Engineers Day with a notable event in Dhangadhi on Wednesday.

The program, which witnessed a gathering of esteemed engineers and professionals, was graced by the presence of Devraj Joshi, the provincial head of Sudurpaschim Province, as the chief guest. During the occasion, Joshi emphasized the crucial role played by individuals associated with the backbone infrastructure of development in the nation-building process. He assured the engineering community of his unwavering support and commitment to their interests.

As a gesture of recognition and appreciation, outstanding employees working in various districts of Sudurpaschim Province were honored at the event. Provincial Chief Joshi bestowed upon them commendation certificates and also presented them with food as a token of appreciation.

The distinguished individuals who received recognition during the ceremony included Engineer Lavprasad Joshi, former president of Nepal Engineers Association Sudurpaschim, Engineer Kisan Dutt Bhatt from Sudurpaschim University, Premdutta Bhatt, Secretary of Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, Sudurpaschim, Engineer Bhim Bahadur Pal from KS Construction, and Engineer Srishti Regmi, Deputy Mayor of Budhinanda Municipality Bajura.

The program, which was presided over by Pradip Kumar Pant, President of Nepal Engineers Association Sudurpaschim Province, witnessed the presence of other prominent figures, including Kishore Kumar Bhatt, Director of Nepal Telecom Regional Office, Jagat Prasad Joshi, Director of Infrastructure Office Sudurpaschim, and various other dignitaries.

Bhaskar Chatout, Vice President of Association Sudurpaschim Province, warmly welcomed the attendees with his opening speech. The event was well-attended by engineers and professionals engaged in diverse fields. Engineer Harendra Bikram Shah skillfully conducted the program.

Furthermore, a vibrant procession from Dhangadhi traffic intersection to Davy Hotel, named "Prabhat," added to the overall enthusiasm of the Engineers Day celebrations.
