Bajura closed for three days
Dhangadhi: Bajura has remained at a standstill for three days. Members of Aneraswaviyu have closed Bajura for the past three days over the murder of an Aneraswaviyu central member Chetan Aydi. Journalist Prakash Singh said that the district headquarters Martadi, Kolti, Falsain, and other markets are closed. According to him, transport, educational institutions, and government offices are also at a standstill in the district.
Members of Aneraswaviyu are protesting by burning tires at the district headquarters Martadi. The district headquarters is closed since Monday. They have demanded that those involved in the murder of Aydi, the leader of Aneraswaviyu, be punished.
District government and non-government institutions, industries, educational institutions, and trade and business have been completely closed. Aneraswawiyu Bajura has said that the stages of the movement will continue until those involved in the murder are arrested.
A criminal complaint has been filed against 22 people for their involvement in the murder of Aidy. On the other hand, the district administration office has said that the situation is normal now. Lokendra Bahadur Bista, Assistant Chief District Officer of Bajura has claimed that markets, public organizations, and schools are still operating.
2 people were killed in a dispute at Nateshwari Basic School polling station in Triveni Municipality 7 of the district. Sanjeev Aydi and Chetan Aydi of Triveni-7 were killed by security personnel after the tension in the polling station on Sunday.
