Baduwal murder case in Kailali: Inspector's brother also involved

Dhangadhi: It has been alleged that the brother of a police inspector is also involved in the murder case of Bhupendra Baduwal, 23, of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 of Kailali. A police source said that one of the seven fugitives was also the brother of the inspector. Madan Shahi's name is also on the absconding list of the police. It has been revealed that he is the brother of the royal police inspector. It has been revealed that another Shahi who is on the absconding list is also a relative of the police DSP. Police have so far arrested nine people in connection with the murder.

The other seven are absconding. Police have been claiming that Baduwal was killed by a sharp weapon as planned by Hotel Sangam Chisapani operator Navin Rawal. Rawal is currently absconding. Mahesh Rawal, 24, of Chisapani, Lamkichuha Municipality-3, Aryan Devkota, 20, Dhiraj Shahi, 20, Kapil Shrestha, 22, of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 and Kishor, 18, of the same place have been arrested on the charge of murder.

Similarly, Praveen Rimal, 23, of Tikapur Municipality-1, Rohit Ale, 21, of Tikapur Municipality-1, Sohan Shah, 26, and Vikas Khadka, 28, of Lamkichuha Municipality-5 have been arrested. Preliminary investigation has shown that Bhupendra was stabbed by Aryan Devkota. The cause of the murder has not been identified yet.
