The concrete bridge of Seti river is at risk, the traffic is closed and the settlement is flooded
Dhangadhi: A concrete bridge over the Seti River in Doti is at risk. According to the State Police Office, the bridge is in danger after the water level in the river suddenly rose due to three days of rain. Traffic on the bridge has been closed, according to a bulletin issued by the office.
The district administration office has urged all the citizens to remain vigilant saying that the danger has increased in the settlements around the river. Similarly, the Seti River has flooded the settlement.
Structures including Dakshinkali Workshop on the banks of Seti River and Dwarikhola in Dipayal, newly constructed building of Doti Chamber, building of Dilpeshwar Mavic, Mahadev Temple and other structures have been submerged. Two Bolero jeeps kept in the Dakshinkali workshop have also sunk.
Chakra Majhi, Ward Chairman of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-3, said that the settlement was at risk after the Seti River entered the bridge market on the border of Ward No. 2 and 3.
