One arrested with illegal currency in Darchula

Dhangadhi: A man has been arrested with illegal currency in Darchula. Tej Bahadur Bam of Duhu Rural Municipality-1 of the district has been arrested with illegal currency.

Chief of the District Police Office, Darchula and Deputy Superintendent of Police Manohar Bhatta said that he was arrested from Mahakali Municipality-4 on September 15.

During the check, suspicious foreign currency was found in his bag. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhatta said that he was arrested after failing to disclose the source.

Bam was sent to the Revenue Investigation Office, Banke for further action, according to Darchula Police.
