Dhangadhi: The Ganga Dussehra fair is set to commence tomorrow at the revered Behada Baba Temple in Kailali's Dhangadhi.

In preparation for the fair, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City has undertaken road repairs and installed street lighting to ensure the convenience and safety of devotees. Street lights have been installed along the route from Devhariya to the Behada Baba Temple in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-7. Additionally, the road leading to the temple, which is yet to be blacktopped, has been repaired.

Behada Baba Temple, a significant religious site, attracts devotees from across Nepal and even neighboring India. Many worshippers donate produce and food items to the temple as an offering of faith. The temple is believed to have been established following the emergence of a Shiva Linga at the site in ancient times.

The Shiva Linga, which now stands at a height of approximately seven feet, draws large crowds of devotees on occasions such as Mauni Amavasya, Shivaratri, and Ganga Dussehra.
