Attaria Chowk blacktop work started

Dhangadhi: Attaria Chowk, the gateway to seven hilly districts in the far west, has been tarred. The blacktop work at Attaria Chowk, which has been miserable for the past three years, has been started from Monday.

The chowk was said to be at the level of Mohanapul Attaria 6-lane road. However, the Road Division Office, Mahendranagar, has stated that the first layer of DBM has been installed under the blacktop. It is said that DBM of 5 cm will be done in the chowk and then asphalt will be done from the top 5 cm. The construction company has stated that the work will be completed within a year if the weather is unfavorable.

In the past, the work of tarring Attaria Chowk was neglected due to the negligence of the construction company. The locals had also agitated saying that they were tortured to ventilate in the muddy and muddy chowk.
