Mahakali Municipality of Darchula decides to procure vaccines
Darchula: The Mahakali Municipality of Darchula is planning to procure vaccine against the Coronavirus.
The municipality has decided to procure vaccines for the city dwellers, said city chief Hans Raj Bhatta. Mahakali Municipality has a population of 24,484. Of them, 7,313 are under 18 years of age. Of them, 2,020 people have been vaccinated.
Now 15,151 are left to be vaccinated. The municipality has stated that it will pay the entire amount per person for vaccination, and will write to the Government of Nepal for permission to provide vaccines or for purchase of vaccines.
Chief Bhatta said that the executive has decided to give Rs 500,000 to the District Hospital for oxygen refill and management.
