Achham UML leader Bharat Saud joins Nepali Communist Party
Dhangadhi: Bharat Saud, former district committee secretary of CPN (UML) Achham, has left the party and joined the Nepali Communist Party.
After joining, Saud stated that he made the decision in support of unity within the communist movement. Saund previously served as UML deputy secretary from 2050 to 2054 and later as district secretary twice. He was elected as a Constituent Assembly member in the 2070 BS election from Achham Constituency No. 2.
Similarly, UML Kailali secretariat member Deepak Rawal and district committee member Janak Khadka have also left the party, citing the disappearance of organized membership within UML.
Rawal and Khadka are expected to join the party during the Nepal Communist Party’s unity message meeting being held in Dhangadhi today.
