Protests erupt over Sudurpaschim Province budget presentation

Dhangadhi: Protests erupted in Sudurpaschim Province on Monday as the government prepared to present the budget for the current financial year for the second time.

Opposition parties, including the CPN-Maoist Center and the CPN United Socialists, staged demonstrations before the state assembly meeting was set to begin.

They argue that presenting the budget again constitutes an unconstitutional action. The Maoist Center and the Samajwadi Party have been vocal in their criticism, claiming that this move undermines legal and procedural norms.
