Children openly using drugs in the streets of Dhangadhi (Video)

Dhangadhi: Drug dealing and users are increasing day by day in Dhangadhi. According to the police data, teenagers from various age groups consume drugs. The authorities have failed to prevent it.

Today (Sunday) morning, 2 children from Shivnagar in Dhangadhi have been caught consuming drugs openly in the streets. According to the locals, four teenagers from Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan-1 were found consuming the drug called Dendrite at a public road in Shivnagar. When the locals saw them, a 13-year-old boy and a girl ran away and the 2 boys were caught by the police. Now they have been handed over to their relatives, according to the District Police Office Kailali.

According to the police, a 12-year-old juvenile and another 14-year-old juvenile were caught based on information from the locals. They were found consuming the drug (dendrite) in a packet of noodles. On the other hand, the relatives of those children said that action should be taken against those who sell and deal in drugs.

It is said that children even steal to buy drugs. Doctors say that consumption of such drugs has a serious impact on children's health.
