19 women from Bajura rescued from the borders of the Far West
Bajura: 19 women of Bajura have been rescued from Gaddachowki in Kanchanpur and Trinagar crossing in Kailali. Most of the women from all the nine local levels of Bajura. They go to India every year in search of work because the financial status of their families are weak. According to Kailali and Gaddachowki Peace Restoration Home, nineteen women from Bajura were rescued when they were being taken to India by traffickers for the purpose of selling them by luring them to get good jobs in India.
Sanchit Singh, Program Coordinator of Peace Restoration Home Branch, Kanchanpur Gaddachowki, said that nineteen women of Bajura were rescued from Trinagar and Gaddachouki borders while the women of Bajura were being taken to India from Asar 2078 to Shrawan 2079.
According to the Peace Restoration Home, among the rescued women, most of them are single women from financially struggling families.
