A leopard was caught in a trap in Baitadi

Baitadi: In Baitadi, a leopard has been caught in a wild boar trap. Bhim Prasad Kandel, Head of Division Forest Office, said that a leopard was caught in a trap set for wild boar in Dasharatchand Municipality-4, Binasaun of the district.

He said that it was reported that the leopard got caught in the trap set by the farmers to protect the corn crop from the wild boars. Kandel said that a team is coming from Bardiya and Shuklaphanta National Park to rescue the trapped leopard. Rescue teams are expected to arrive by evening.
