Telecom service in Kanchanpur disrupted for four days

Dhangadhi: The service of Nepal Telecom has been disrupted in Shuklaphanta Municipality of Kanchanpur. Telecom service in the Jhalari Bazaar area of Ward No. 10 of the municipality has been disrupted for four days.

According to Pritam Bhatta, head of the Mahendranagar branch of the telco, the service was disrupted due to a break in the optical fiber. The service has been disrupted due to cutting of optical fiber in many places on the road being constructed by Ammarpur-Kaluwapur Drinking Water Consumers Committee and Urban Development Project in Jhalari.

The service recipients have demanded legal action against the consumer committee and the contractor for using dozers indiscriminately. Similarly, senior engineer of Telecom Attaria branch Prakash Bhatta informed that repair work is being carried out at the place where the optical brake was installed.
