Attaria's security is being tested in the community forest

Dhangadhi: The Security Community Forest Users Committee at Attaria in Kailali has been active in removing encroachments. The committee has started removing the tents in the security community forest in Godavari Municipality Ward No.

1 from today (Monday). Laxmi Bhandari, the chairperson of Suraksha Community Forest, said that they are working to prevent forest encroachment by removing the tents under the forest area. She said that the tents were being removed at the behest of the Forest Users Committee, Forest Office staff, and police administration.

Suraksha Community Forest is located on the east road of Attaria. Meanwhile, those living in tents in the forest have protested saying that the tents have been removed.
