Baduwal murder case: Inspector's brother arrested from Dharan

Dhangadhi: Another person has been arrested for killing Bhupendra Baduwal, 23, of Lamki by stabbing him in Kailali. Among the seven fugitives, 19-year-old Madan Shahi has been arrested. According to Prateek Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kailali, he was arrested from Dharan.
Police have already made public the other nine people arrested in the case. A Kitani complaint has been registered at the Area Police Office, Tikapur, but six others are still absconding. According to Area Police Office Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Sapkota, search is on for the six fugitives. Navin Rawal, who is said to be the mastermind of the murder, is also absconding.
Aryan Devkota, 20, Mahesh Rawal, 24, and Dhiraj Shahi, 20, of Lamkichuha Municipality-3 have been charged with murdering Baduwal, 23, of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 by attacking him with a khukuri near Siddhartha Hotel in Tikapur Municipality-1 on Tuesday night. Police have arrested Nishan Malla, 18, and Kapil Shrestha, 22.

Similarly, Pravin Rimal, 22, Sohan Shah, 26, Rohit Ale, 21, and Vikas Khadka of Tikapur Municipality-1 have been arrested. Apart from Devkota, nine others have been arrested for allegedly plotting to assassinate Baduwal.
