Rawal faction to elect parallel general convention delegates

२०७८ मंसिर १, ०४:३५

Dhangadhi: UML Kailali Chairman Ratan Thapa has said that he was alone in the election of delegates to the General Convention. CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal's party is to elect a parallel general convention representative. The party has also called a meeting on Wednesday to elect a representative. Mahadev Bajagai, a member of the party's state committee and a candidate for the general convention, said that the party would elect its representatives unanimously or through elections.

In order to elect a total of 9 delegates from Kailali Constituency No. 2, including 6 men and 3 women, in the 10th National General Convention to be held in Chitwan from December 29 to 30, a meeting of all the organized members of Kailali Constituency No. 2 should be organized on the following date, time and place. Therefore, I heartily request all the organized members of our party in this area to be present on the basis of this information.

It has been alleged that the district chairperson has single-handedly announced the name of the delegate while 43 candidates have already registered for the convention. The other party has stated that 44 representatives have been elected from all the five constituencies. In Kailali Constituency No. 4, the party has unanimously elected its representatives in other constituencies.
