Floods and landslides in the Far-West: 30 killed, 24 missing, 16 injured (with names)
Dhangadhi: The death toll due to floods and landslides in the far-western region has reached 30.
The highest death toll was 15 in Doti, eight in Bajhang, four in Baitadi, two in Dadeldhura and one in Kailali. According to the State Police Office, Dhangadhi, 24 people are missing in the landslide. There are 21 missing persons in Bajhang, one each in Kailali, Baitadi and Doti.
In Bajhang, the rescue team has reached the site by providing relief and medicine for the rescue and search of the landslide victims by a Nepal Army helicopter. Similarly, 16 people have been injured due to the floods and landslides. Eleven people were injured in Doti, two in Dadeldhura and Baitadi and one in Bajhang.
