Hotel operator beaten and looted in Kailali, 3 arrested

Dhangadhi: Jewelery has been looted by beating a hotel operator in Kailali. Ritu Thapa, 34, who has been running Hotel Kanchi in Godawari Municipality Ward No. 2 of the district has been beaten. According to District Police Office, Kailali, Inspector Lokendra Guru, three youths were accused of beating her on Friday night.

"Lalit Joshi, 28, Ashish Pandey, 25, and Navin Joshi, 26, of Godawari Municipality Ward No. 3 have been arrested on charges of assault," Guru told Dinesh Khabar. "The incident is being investigated." According to the Area Police Office, Malakheti, the jewelery was also looted in the petition. The woman, who was injured in the beating, is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
