Dhangadhi main road inundated due to heavy rains

Dhangadhi: The main road of Dhangadhi has been flooded due to heavy rains. Areas including LN Chowk and Park Mode of the main road have been inundated. It has become difficult for passengers to move around as the road is flooded.

The main road of Dhangadhi has been inundated due to normal rains as structures built there have been constructed after destroying small natural streams and lakes flowing from north to south through Dhangadhi market area.

The problem of inundation in Dhangadhi has been increasing due to obstruction in the natural course of the river due to encroachment of river land in the past. Most of the settlements in wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 of the market area the sub-metropolitan area are inundated.
