One injured after being stabbed by a knife in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A 23-year-old Mane Tamang was seriously injured after being stabbed by a knife (khukuri) in Punarwas Municipality-3 IBRD of the district.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, a group including Ravi Shahi, 26, of Belauri Municipality-1 attacked him with a khukuri on Wednesday.

According to Amar Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Tamang is undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

He said that the police is searching for the absconding group. A preliminary police investigation has revealed that the incident may have been due to an earlier dispute between the two.
