4173 Nepalese enter India through the Trinagar-Gauriphanta border in a period of four days
More than 4,100 Nepalese have entered India through the Trinagar-Gauriphanta border in a period of four days.
The Armed Police Force, which has been keeping a record of the border area, has stated that 4,173 Nepalese have entered India in the last four days. Most of the people traveling to India said that they are compelled to go to India to make ends meet.
Most of them have been unable to find employment in Far-West amidst the pandemic. The Indian SSB is now allowing Nepalese to enter India on the basis of their identity card.
Many people have entered India on the recommendation of the people's representative of their ward stating that they are sick.
