Two arrested for beating female health worker in Baitadi

Baitadi: Two people have been arrested for beating a female health worker in Baitadi. Police have arrested Mohan Kunwar age 24, and Birendra Kunwar age 21, of Purchaudi Municipality-3 on Monday.

According to the Area Police Office of Patan, Anami Janaki Bhatt age 25, and Bimala Kunwar age 31, of Nakali Municipal Health Center were attacked by the men.

Police said that they would investigate the situation and file a case if necessary. Janaki had lodged a complaint with the police on Sunday alleging that the youths had beaten her while she was treating a patient at the health center.
